Read the Coolmore catalogue last night

They got to have a lotof money to spend to print that catalogue.
Almost 80 pages long, with outstanding glossy pixs. I think they
cut out most of their Euro stallions out of this one.

They did, and they mispelled Sanford Stakes next to Chapel Royal as Sandford Stakes. I was kinda stunned that could get by the proofreaders.

You know, when Chapel Royal first retired they sent my dad a dvd on him. He's a great looking horse... at least on a flat screen. Anyone seen him live?

Giants Causeway being private is kind of weird. I'm trying to figure out the motivation of not publishing the fee. If the Sheikh wont buy them anyway, what difference does it make whether or not the fee is published?
First Samurai is already booked at 40K and Claiborne will really benefit from the Shiekh boycott on Giants Causeway with him. Hes not only a son of First Sam but Giants Causeway's only grade one winner on the dirt, and breeders don't have to worry about the "Sheikh won't buy them" problem because hes not being stood by Coolmore.
