Here are the will pays for each $1 wager. At Don's wagering emporium there is no takeout and no breakage; unfortunately for those who win, there is also no real $. Well, you can't have everything.
Arletta: 4.85 Real Quiet: 5.19 Criminal Type: 8.72 Plenilune: 10.57 JolyB: 11.23 Ryonker1: 11.98 Don Guido: 13.83 Ruffian: 14.26 Cruzan200246: 17.98 Swedejxn: 44.95 A little different than the Morning Line, eh? |

Don Guido won the Cup as the Morning Line favorite, and only two players had any of their $$ on him. Our group of players allowed Don G go go off at $13.83 on the dollar, resulting in the following payoffs:
JolyB - ($40 Win) = $553.20 Plenilune - ($25 Win) = $345.75 This was an enjoyable addition to our regular contest. Thanks for thinking of it. |

Thanks JB. If I could only pet and maybe kiss American Pharoah on the nose it would make it a great year. As luck would have it, it was my best handicapping year ever . . . never won both the regular season and the Gallivan Cup. It's four for me since I have been keeping track some 7 or 8 year ago. As the saying goes which I am a firm believer of. . . "It's better to be lucky than good".
Maybe it's that time like AP to go out on top. I'll consult with my trainer to see if it's time for me to retire and go to stud ![]() an innocent? reference to a pie in the sky dream, HUH? Dream on DonGuido.Anyway, JB . . . you and Plen took the favorite and cashed in. Nice going. And I'll end it with that. Both of you are much better at the real deal . . . wagering on the right "horses" to make money than I. ![]() And as for AP, there's always a trip to Lexington and Coolmore in the future. Anet and I will gladly take a number and wait our turn . . .
