So I was at BBC site, reading about netanyahu, and they had a link to some memes...because of course there are memes.

So, anti-abortion protesters feel uncomfortable when a counter-protester shows up:

http://jezebel.com/abortion-clinic-p...ter-1738000697

The best part is, if you watch the video, the news station interviews one of the anti-abortion fellas who insists he's not interested in controlling "women's lives and stuff." The guy in the video? Well, he has a record:

"That’s a very interesting thing for Schumacher to say, because according to the City of Fargo’s sex offender registry, he is a level two sex offender, convicted of raping a female family member in August 2011. He is required to remain on the sex offender registry until 2039."

I never, ever, ever tire of that clip. I kinda feel bad for the actor, as I hear the movie is actually really good, but holy cow, that scene has become one of the funniest memes ever.

no show rubio gets chastised by a fla paper, with which i happen to agree.

lazy republicans. two complain that a couple hours is just too much time to spend at a debate, and then this guy hates his job, barely does it, and wants a better job....based on..what, exactly? what qualifies marco, and why do people keep mentioning him as a potential nominee?
egads what a race, reminds me of bottom level claimers entered in a race. someone has to win. but they are all rats.

The U.S. Department of Defense spent nearly $43 million on a gas station in northern Afghanistan and has been unable to explain why it cost so much, a U.S. special inspector reported on Monday.

The DOD protector of our lives and homes from foreign enemies and this is what we get.....

However, the task force behind the project closed operations in March and for that reason, according to the report, the Department of Defense said it did not possess “the personnel expertise to address these questions.

“Frankly, I find it both shocking and incredible that (the Defense Department) asserts that it no longer has any knowledge,” the report said. It added that the task force reported directly to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and was an $800 million program

I wonder who the benefactor was from this "bend over and give me (taxpayers) another" stunt

i've always looked askance at these types of things...i thought it was just a few minutes patronizing from groups like the nfl.
but to find out the DOD was behind this, paying for it, for recruiting. well, i was surprised.
and then i wondered why i was surprised.
seems like they used to have a national guard car in nascar.

Oh. My. God.

Quote:
“As I said when I first campaigned and I’ve said it every time since, we need to get back to the basics: Reading, writing and arithmetic from first grade on,” Peters said. “We need to be teaching the ‘c’ part which is Christian values, not Muslim values, not transgender values. We need to be teaching the old Biblical values.
You know what, lady, I would have loved it if we'd cut all that stuff we got from Muslims out of my 1980s public school education. Here's what I wouldn't have had to take:

Algebra
Geometry
Trig (I HATED Trig. No more sine, cosine and tangent for me!)
Chemistry
Geography
Photography (oh wait. I loved Photography. Never mind.)

I guess by "Christian values" she means that addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are enough math for American kids.

I wonder if just basic math would have gotten us to the moon, since she also brags about that.

Police Probe Alleged Raiders Player’s Taunting Of K-9 At Heinz Field

Poor Ray-Ray. Most likely the presence of the police dog was a trigger. It's a miracle that this hasn't happened before.
