He should be remembered as the BC Sprint winner that skipped the Grade 1 Vanderbilt to run in an ungraded race at Mountaineer.

IL bred had a magical year in 2014 after capping it off with the Breeders' Cup Sprint victory. I think it worked out well and Vanderbilt winner Palace could only manage to finish 6th.

All the more reason he should have run then....instead of slithering off to Mountaineer for an ungraded race.

Nope, and I'm positive the same poster was saying the exact same thing when Commentator was running against NY breds in '09.

I was at the mtr event and also this past Saturday. Was a wonderful specimen
