You've got me there, NJ. As I noted elsewhere, the WIN price alone on the second leg of the DD paid more than the DD 'splain that one, please.

That's one of the many hazards of placing a wager without being able to watch the tote.

It is inexplicable, JolyB.

The DD I hit that paid $3.60 was at Delaware Park in 1979 I think. Spectacular Bid won the first half of the DD at around 1/9 and the second half of the DD only had 5 horses in it. Although I was wasn't jumping up and down with a $3.60 payoff, after seeing that payoff at Santa Anita last Saturday I guess should have been ecstatic 35 years ago!
