Great job as always. I was wondering how you structured the tri and super ticket in the 7th.

Great job today Steve! Awesome as usual.

I had a profitable day but I come away feeling 'ho hum' about what could have been. Had Trensita gotten 2nd, I would've absolutely crushed the ex & tri. Looked poised entering the turn by getting in nice position and even in mid-stretch it briefly looked that place monies were attainable. Wasn't meant to be. That's what tomorrow is for, day 21!

Mike.. I hear you. Don't fret. Trensita was a very playable key. Looked long and hard at her. 80% of the fields in these turf races have pay slot capability. Keep firing!

Tough horse to find. First turf with the Chester House mare the 'angle' but still...

What was strange was the odd combo of covered horses with an obvious player like Herbie uncovered.

Well you have a "best bet" which is semi rare. You take him first and second in the tri and super . Cost $24 for dollar tri . $48 for dollar supers. Pretty standard faire

K/S..

THX! Bama has it right.. Really liked the Rice stable & work mate of Big Thrill most -- hence the Best Bet style caps -- and keyed her in the top slots in .50 tris with the other tabs. Don't play supers myself so that was all I got out of it.

Typically I bet a Best Value type like Chinchilla Dust to win and backwheel in exactas, but I was finishing the Del Mar writeup and didn't take notice of how long she was until I heard her name at first call.

Was a great result and hope many benefitted..
