![]() Very excited about the Juddmonte International tomorrow...
http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/r...series-group-1 edit - Gleneagles out... http://www.racingpost.com/news/live....524&category=0 * * * With the retirement of Epiphaneia and both Duramente and Real Steel suffering injuries (and both One and Only and Speilberg being pointed to G1's at home this Fall), the only possible Japanese Arc horse was to be the filly, Rouge Buck. This is her win in the G3 ... http://web-cache.stream.ne.jp/web/jr...502080411&ua=4 She was winless in her two G1 starts (9th in the Oka Sho and a nice 2nd in the Yushun Himba) and was to be pointed to the Sapporo Kinen this weekend but I just now saw the noms and am confused as to why she isn't there (Sunday Star or Ed - any idea?). Her full record... http://www.jbis.jp/horse/0001156915/record/ Last edited by my miss storm cat : 08-19-2015 at 08:32 AM. |

![]() I look at the historical list of winners for the Juddmonte International and surely it can't be real that Arabian Queen won this race???

![]() * * * Thought I would throw this in incase anyone was wondering... Jeff Smith, the winner’s owner and one of Elsworth’s most enduring supporters, hopes to see Arabian Queen line up for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at some stage, but probably not until 2016. “We are in the [Group One] Fillies and Mares at Ascot [on Champions Day in October] and that would probably be it for the year, and then next year we will possibly train for her for the Arc.” http://www.theguardian.com/sport/201...rnational-york |
