You're close on Kissin Kris, he was in there too..

Here's a clue.. he was Canadian triple crown winner....

My favorite was Izvestia, it's sad they he broke down and couldn't
be saved. One my favorite grays of all time

He was the horse Randy Romero rode in the BC Classic after he broke his shoulder when Go For Wand broke down.

He was a very good horse.
