![]() Not sure what she was running against, but I was pretty impressed. Looked like JV had to work her after the slow start. Then she ends up going wide and runs down the leader. Definitely not the easiest of trips in a debut.

![]() He probably expected to have to do that at the start. I remember hearing about her tendency to break slow so this may just be a thing for her. I'm not in love with it just because it has the potential to make a race harder and limit the options for strategy and placement, so I hope it's something she's dealing with as a baby and not a long term habit.
