![]() It was great to see the members of the Coaching Club riding around the track shortly after noon today. Keeping the tradition alive in advance of a race with a wonderful heritage. I still vividly recall Meadow Star and Lite Lite, among others. Of course, that was when they had to run the Belmont Stakes distance.
Here's my stab in a very competitive race: $2 trifecta: 3,8 // 3,5,8 // 2,3,5,6,8 Good luck to all and enjoy the race this afternoon. |

![]() After the stewards finished with their work, the final results were as follows:
trifecta: 3 / 8 / 5 - $2 tri paid $31.00 pb72vett also had the winning tri for $2 (and had $4 left over unwagered), while Hickory Hill Hoff had the winning tri for $1. Interestingly enough, each of the three players who had the winning tri also would have been successful if I'm A Chatterbox had not been taken down and placed 2nd. Other players were not so fortunate. |
