HHH. Good point. There is a lot of concern about liabilities in our Mid-Atlantic are and that was a big reason DEL and PARX started restricting what people could bring. From what I was told there were some lawsuits about people who brought their own alcohol to the track and then had terrible outcomes.
It's a weird world. If I was to go to Saratoga and get all hammered and drive and kill somebody, that's a bad thing. It would be my fault. However, now they sue the track when they had nothing to do with it. It may happen. However I think it may be more a question of liability rather than just trying to increase sales.

One thing I've always loved about the Adirondack is the pool. Nothing like a dip after a day at the track.

The killers row of vendors and booths and hawkers as you pass their gauntlet to methodically get to Valhalla sucks big time. My wife and I ignore everyone of them that cheapen and degrade the walk. Then once we cleans ourselves of the riff raff and cross the wooden threshold of the historic, sacred realm we forget about it all. Good thing too.
