I was there and if I remember correctly Spend a Buck went off at 1-20. It was the lowest I've ever seen in almost 60 years of going to the track. I think Skip Trial paid $74 to win.
That was horrible to get in and out of there. I think I got home at like midnight and spent like 5 hours on a 1 1/2 hour drive. We usually go to Monmouth on a Friday and I recommend it. You get to enjoy the track and it's not overly crowded. Pick a nice weather day and you'll really enjoy it. Nice place. Pharoah on Haskell Day, no thanks.

I saw Big Brown race there and it was a wet day and it was a Saturday. that was doable. if the haskell was Saturday it would be much better for traffic.
This I'm not so sure. The only way is if it rains. That will keep some of the south to north Pkwy traffic slightly lighter on Sunday evening. considering... but I hate that ride home. Going to take minimum 3+hrs...with work Monday. and the parking is irrelevant. This is a possible one time only event to see a trip winner. so if you go....i salute you.
