How does a treaty to keep them from getting a weapon allow them to get a weapon?

Because it has no teeth. Sanctions? Give me a break. Sanctions didn't stop North Korea.

Inspections? Another laugh. All the notice being given in advance of where the inspectors would go and when... can you imagine if the feds did that with Al Capone? They'd never find anything.

If Netanyahu thinks the deal will guarantee Iran getting a nuclear weapon, I believe him. Tel Aviv is the first target of any future Iranian weapon. He has a reason to care.

I agree that Israel has justifiable concerns but two things are clear from history...(1) diplomacy beats the hell out of war, and (2) Israel will never allow Iran to get the bomb...they will turn Iran into a parking lot first. Obviously we can't trust Iran but I'd like to see the actual treaty before rejecting it. The message that Iran must hear is simple...we want a peaceful solution but any attack on Israel is suicidal and would bring the full force of American down on them as well!

how odd that you believe another nations leader, but not your own. why would you believe netanyahu?
and you do know that the treaty doesn't just involve us, but also Russia, China, France, United Kingdom and Germany and the european union?
amazing that many countries could be pushing for something that would allow iran what none of them want iran to get.

and the sanctions have been working. that's why iran wants a deal, some have been rolled back already with them showing willingness to do something. if iran balks, the sanctions return.

i'm sorry, but nothing you are suggesting has a basis in fact from what i've seen.
as for isreal, everyone wants a deal, because they don't want israel and iran in a war.
