I hope that people will soon finally think, really think about this topic. That they will quit with the apologist history and finally concede what many have known all along.
You can't help yourself. Like a special needs child that has to puke.

Now a flag is to blame?

If we took down/banned the ISIS flag are they going away?

Still OK to burn, walk on the American flag OK?

You are entertaining!

And middle of the road LMAO

Umm..this country is obsessed with guns. There can be no reasonable dialog about control because...and I am and sorry. ..but other than family, gun owners value their right to kill..disguised as defend , above all. Just give an inch...I don't care if you want to hunt, but why are you so afraid to give an inch?

Just enforce the laws we have!

I don't hunt, value all wildlife including deer, and not popular up here, but not 6'0" plus either. Never shot at or towards a person in my life but worked many shifts in the ghettos and though not doing that anymore still think it my right to have a tool to protect my property and life.

No one should be able to buy and /or own a gun w/o a background check regardless of State and I will give that inch.

I also should add the father of this racist diagnosed psychotic prick in SC needs to go down for furnishing him the gun via a birthday gift.

That's a slippery slope.

One could argue the responsibility lies with the state. Particularly the public school system for allowing this guy to drop out in 9th grade.

They failed him. Like they have so many others with failed liberal policies that allow these 'children' to be as uncivilized as their hearts desire because 'no one punishes my baby'.

Then we must also look at dropping the statute of limitations on the attorneys and their lobbyists who pushed for children to have more rights than adults when it comes to disciplining them.

It's so funny to read comments about how this guy is a 'monster' and he's 'evil' and that the state should now 'kill' him but I bet this young man didn't have a paddle took to his ass in his formative years.

I bet he wasn't conditioned to not do stupid sh.it in fear of getting his ass whooped.

Instead he was empowered by the system to be a monster. By the same people who want to kill him 'now'.

The hypocrisy and repeated failure of these clowns never ceases to astound.

A true idiocracy.

The reason this is attack/tragedy is so heavily covered by the media is because it involved a white racist killing black people AND IT IS A RARE OCCURANCE! So while we listen to all the pontifications including those of the Rev. Jackson about how this is a continuation of racist America the following sixteen murders occurred in Chicago during the past week, not to mention the week before or next week, right under the Rev's nose. We must ask why do these victims get ignored over and over and over? And black lives matter? To whom?

June 18 – Name Unknown, a 43 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Woodlawn.

June 18 – Lynell Simmons, a 30 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Chatham.

June 18 – Name Unknown, a 23 year old unknown male, caused by a gunshot in Chatham.

June 17 – Kimon De'Shon Wheeler, a 15 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in North Lawndale.

June 17 – Sam Johnson, a 19 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Uptown.

June 16 – Lawrence M. Cox, a 29 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in East Garfield Park.

June 16 – Demetrius R. Bottom, a 49 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Chatham.

June 16 – Martese Gentry, a 15 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in North Lawndale.

June 14 – Thomas Sawyer, a 49 year old black male, caused by a stabbing in Uptown.

June 14 – Byron Floyd, a 31 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Austin.

June 14 – David Martinez Jr., a 40 year old white male, caused by a gunshot in New City.

June 13 – Kelly Burrell, a 23 year old black female, caused by a gunshot in Englewood.

June 13 – Arthur Wyatt, a 55 year old black male, caused by a assault in Brighton Park.

June 12 – Dennis Hoosier, a 23 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Ohare.

June 12 – Benson Collins, a 55 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Austin.

June 12 – Abdula Tate, a 38 year old black male, caused by a gunshot in Grand Boulevard.

Fair enough. Too many cops all over the USA can't be trusted as far as you can throw them. Agreed.

Why did the community and civil rights leaders wait until Michael Brown died (or anyone else for that matter)
before ginning up all their outrage at police brutality against minorities?

Black lives matter huh?
not sure. but it seems that the city had been engaged in a wholesale shakedown for some time. did the black citizens feel there was nowhere to turn before, and then his death was the final blow? i don't know.
and that's not the only town either. look at baltimore, and having to pay to settle case after case of 'rough rides'.
there is systemic racism in this country. it's a fact. the question is how to confront it, face it, accept there's an issue, and then work on fixing it?
what's worse? racism, or people saying there's no racism? the white people in ferguson said 'ah, come on, no worries here'. but they didn't know, they'd never seen it and dealt with it, they're white.
young black kids are punished more in schools than their white counterparts fo the same infractions, and that's just the beginning.

Part of the reason is the lack of quality of the Civil Rights leaders that represent the black community. Take Rev. Jackson for instance. The man on paper is a preacher of God and community activist yet in real life is an adulterer with a out of wedlock daughter to a woman 40 years younger. Younger than his namesake who is now in a halfway house after serving a federal prison sentence and younger than his daughter-in-law who will enter federal prison once Jr. gets home. A man who financially supports the out of wedlock daughter but is not in her life. A man who protests liquor billboards in the ghetto with a second son who owns the second largest Budweiser distributorship in the city. A man who has displayed his anti-Semitism beliefs going so far as to describe NYC as hymie-town.

In the case of Charleston whether on purpose or out of ignorance the constant focus and insight including the dissection of this racist's murderer's manifesto, the quoting of family members stating he was a smart child (ignoring he never made it thru his first year of high school though attempting it twice) does nothing more than sensationalize and in someway legitimize his actions ignoring what led him to take action. It may even be used for grooming further feeble minded young white males into racist attackers in the future. This kid wasn't some genius living with deep seated hatred for blacks rather he was an addle brained, failure looking for someone or something to blame for his failures.

The focus should rather be put on the victims of this tragedy. Describing their lives and successes. The family members they left behind and will have to go on with life w/o them. The kids that will now grow up in single family homes. And their pictures not the pictures of Roof should be posted. Instead of making and clumping them together as the black victims, highlight them as the black Church-going individuals each were. Equal focus should be put on the hate mongering websites he visited that led to his bird brained conclusion that black's were to blame for his failure.

Look racism no doubt still exists in every facet of society yet let's not forget the successes the country has made overcoming racism. We have a black elected President in a country that's 77% white. Back to back black Atty. Generals, a black Supreme Court justice. Black CEO's of fortune 500 companies, millions of black college graduates, black policemen and on and on and on.

The continual demonstrations and narrative of blacks having little to no chance in this racist society is equivalent to calling a child stupid and telling him he has no chance at being successful. Tell both they will be failures and that will likely be the outcome.

We need strong successful black leaders, ones able to say follow my path, do what I did, rather than some clown who speaks in rhymes, with the morality of a mutt in heat.

Dell, I agree...nobody is perfect and we shouldn't expect perfection from leaders but those who talk the talk must walk the walk.
