Needing either of the 5 or 7 to get through the fourth at Belmont, I figured that I was in clover after the break with an opening quarter in 23:4 ... but then the half gets posted as 46:3 (46.79)? Suddenly, there is a 23 flat quarter in the second panel? What happened to a nice 48:4 half when I have both on the lead?

Not to mention that it was the "other Albertrani" that won the race with Castellano up for a $30.00 mutuel. Sometimes, this game is *really* hard.

It seems like they only crawl on the front when you have bet against a speed horse in a race loaded with speed and then when you bet what appears to be the lone speed they all go.

That was a tough horse to take under any circumstances, horse looked like a professional maiden. Needed every bit of a perfect trip to win today and frankly if the 1 got loose I would be willing to bet that Rare Eagle would have given up the ghost big time.

River Date will certainly be a Trips and Traps horse for next time.
