my favorite in recent years has to be dynaformer.
he sires horses that just seem to have a certain charisma (see barbaro, perfect drift, mcdynamo). although many of his top offspring seem to have seconditis in their big races (see film maker, dynever, perfect drift) i like the fact that i never have to wonder if a dynaformer "can get this distance." also, i always really liked riskaverse for some reason, and she was yet another talented dynaformer.
