Arsenal.
I'm looking to take out guys like that guy with the grenades yesterday, and all his buddies. We don't need them, its time to get on the stick and take care of these folks once and for all.
The Kid From Brooklyn had the right idea.

Chris Mortensen is making the rounds on ESPN radio reporting that Saban isn't happy in Miami and is interested in returning to the college ranks.

Local Sports radio guy that covered the SEC made a comment that I agree with: 2 Football Schools that are no longer what they were Alabama and Miami and the jobs are not attractive at all, he ranked Alabama as the 8th most attractive job in the SEC. These two schools got the Heisman from Rutgers and West Virginia, not real impressive...

Facilities, I have to laugh at this comment, the beat writer for University of Cincinnati Football who covered Georgia and spent time at Alabama, commented that the UC facilities were as good or better than Georgia and Alabama, we're talking about a middle of the road Big East School, this job is not what you think...

Any job where the expectations are out of whack with the reality is gonna be a hard job. The Bama traditionalists expect someone to ride in a white horse and turn this thing around immediately. They aren't a bad program, but getting one to the level that they seem to expect, in whats usually the deepest conference top to bottom is not gonna be easy.
Surprises me that Saban already wants to go back to college. Thought he would stick it out at Miami a while.

Big-O: the guy with the White Horse is out here, lol! Seriously...Saban might be tired of being in middle management as far as things go in the pros! In college, recruiting is a drag...but you're still the Big Fish. Or maybe he's tired of the mentality of Pro athletes? PS...I sent you a PM last week!

Got it!! And I'm working on it!!
As far as Saban goes, he would be the best guy they could get anyway!!!
Hes won a National Championship and now has pro connections that prospects wanna see because they all think they are gonna make it to the pros.
He'd be a major score for Bama, and he could offer them the best chance at getting back to where they wanna be.

what does a sports radio talking head in cincinnati and a cincinnati fish-hack know about Alabama Football? my guess is, close to nothing.

the Bama job is still a great job, it will take some extra elbow grease to get it shined up again. appearently coaches now a days don't want to do any work.

CRR can stay at wvu with his terrible in and out of conference schedule win 9-10 games every year. go undefeated and be LUCK to play for the NC IF at all.

Bama interm coach and DC Joe Kines told the team last saturday " CRR traded a goldmine for a coalmine". in the near future, Kines is probably right.

I'd say expectations are the same at Alabama than at ND
I live a stone's throw away from Indiana, and see far more
Tide stickers than Irish, nobody wants to live in South Bend
they just got Weis because nobody would give him a HC gig in the NFL

wrong, he circulated his name throughout the NFL, no bites, none, zilch
so he left for college (2nd choice, or 33rd I suppose)

ha, it's common knowledge for anyone who follows the game even on a casual basis, I apologize for your lack of keeping up
it was mentioned numerous times on MNF, NFL Today, etc.
This is like 2-3 years removed now, please try and pay attention
