I have him 2nd or 3rd but he could easily be 8 lengths back if we keep with the 8's line of "reasoning".

Cause you will be competing with the thousands playing 5/All/All that's why. It worked in the Preakness however these things usually don't work the next time.

5/all/all is too much money for me. I don't want to get rich, just win a little. I'm sure the pools will be huge. Then I've toyed with staying away from the Belmont, watching it for fun and bet others?

Brilliant, you are much more likely to spend more money on this bet than it will pay even if you manage to cash it.
