We got hit with another storm. Sheets of rain nonstop for over an hour. The turf course is shot for at least two weeks i would think. I would doubt they run those stakes next weekend unless they decide just to run them on the dirt.

RAMPELLINI: Evangeline sets plan for canceled stakes
Evangeline Downs, which had to cancel a card of five stakes Saturday due to heavy rains, has a makeup plan in the works, according to track official Chris Warren. The Evangeline Mile and two Louisiana-bred stakes will be brought back for the Saturday program, June 6. The $300,000 Evangeline Downs Turf Sprint and the Opelousas will be rescheduled for a future date to be announced, per Warren. The all-stakes pick four that was to have had a $100,000 guaranteed pool will not be brought back with the rescheduled stakes at Evangeline.
