It's an invitational, so he will be published on the next round, which should take place a week or so before. I'm guessing they knew the intention was to go to EvD and did not invite him right off the bat.

I suppose Wesley Ward is taking Undrafted to Royal Ascot because he's not on the list either.

We got hit with another storm. Sheets of rain nonstop for over an hour. The turf course is shot for at least two weeks i would think. I would doubt they run those stakes next weekend unless they decide just to run them on the dirt.

RAMPELLINI: Evangeline sets plan for canceled stakes

Evangeline Downs, which had to cancel a card of five stakes Saturday due to heavy rains, has a makeup plan in the works, according to track official Chris Warren.

The Evangeline Mile and two Louisiana-bred stakes will be brought back for the Saturday program, June 6.

The $300,000 Evangeline Downs Turf Sprint and the Opelousas will be rescheduled for a future date to be announced, per Warren.

The all-stakes pick four that was to have had a $100,000 guaranteed pool will not be brought back with the rescheduled stakes at Evangeline.
