I signed up for the Pan-American Racing Conference a couple weeks ago, which includes a ticket to the Belmont in a "special hospitality area". I'm not sure where that will be. But it also includes bus from the Grand Hyatt to the track and back.

More details below:

Cheers,

Eh, five days and I hear rumor that New York City can be a fairly entertaining place to visit in the meantime. I think they have a couple of museums, or something like that. Theater maybe. I dunno.

Yea I remember a big park as well. Then there's that steak joint under the Brooklyn Bridge and some statue of a woman holding a torch.

I'd suggest she'd also hit a Broadway Musical on a Monday night. And everything in NYC is dirt cheap especially compared to those crazy Arkansas prices.

yeah, it would definitely be part of a broader trip, with other things in between the race days.
we're leaving town next friday morning for a trip. won't be a two weeker like we did in december to california...just a 10 day trip to nebraska, south dakota, wyoming, colorado and then back home. i can't wait!

That sounds amazing! Nebraska is one of the 9 states I still have to visit.

Can't blame anyone for wanting to get out of Arkansas even for a little while. I am so sick of rain. Rains every day. Turning into Brazil. People in California begging for water. We have a super abundance of it. Don't even have to look at the weather report any more. know it's going to say rain and more rain. I need a trip to Vegas bad.
