I explained to them that I was 9 years old when the last time we had a triple crown winner. This is just one reason why the American Pharoah story is great. We are getting younger people in the game, by drawing attention to what greatness in this game really is. I'm looking forward to June 6th!!!! Plus it's my wifes birthday.

Young and old- a friend of mine went to Belmont with me for the first time last year, and bought a ticket for this year's a week ago, to make sure she could get in, regardless of whether there is a Triple Crown or not. She also bought one for her 70-year-old mother, who is coming from Pennsylvania, purely because hearing my friend talk about how much fun last year was made her want to go, too.
