![]() Awesome win today in the 7f Laz Barrera at SA. Stalked the wicked pace while 3wide and hit the timer in 1:20 97. Owner Rick Porter in winners circle after the race when asked by Millie Ball if Woody Stephens on Belmont day is next, said Jerry Hollendorfer wants to stretch him out. I for one would love to see a Kentuckian, Competitive Edge battle on Belmont Day..

![]() That's a scary thought. In his last race he was kind of green. He had his head up and was looking around. Never grabbed the bit. Today he did.

I'm a sucker for a good Tiznow 3yo, I'll admit that, but I don't think my bias is building him up too much. Kentuckian looks like he's got the goods. Certainly has the connections to get every opportunity without being asked to do something he shouldn't be doing yet. How tall is he? I assumed the Unbridled's Song of his pedigree has made him on the bigger side, but I wasn't sure it wasn't an optical illusion. Loved the call referring to Kentuckian and the beginning of his move in the Laz Barrera as ominous. He's really a grey storm cloud of a horse. |
