I don't get the result of the Ramsey scratch protest. He pulls multiple entries from the same turf race so the remaining horses/ owners can divide up the purse easier? And this ends a message to Brown or CD? Doesn't CD keep the nomination or entry fees? All because he's irked about his Derby scratch???

Right or wrong , always put him in the same owner category as Calabrese; Head strong, competitive but student of the game.

One never knows what goes on in the minds of men. Especially when they have enough money that they are accustomed to getting their own way 99% of the time and tend to throw their weight around to prove it.

Are you kidding?
He made them work him Sunday. He was still going on about the Preakness, even after he already knew about the ankle.

apparently they said the chip wasn't a problem. mineshaft is one that comes to mind that had chips and still ran. some are an issue, some aren't. but him being off apparently was due to the fracture...if the chip wasn't a problem, there had to be something else.

Then they need to make up their minds. The original story about the chip said they would stop on him, operate to remove the chip, stall rest, then turn him out.

This started last fall when Ramsey' s horse Stephanie's Kitten lost to Chad's other mare Day at the Spa -- he was whining and complaining about the stablemate right after the loss.

If he cares that much, hire a private trainer and one that won't tell him no. Acting like they essentially gotta become one unofficially by not having another big client that might wanna run in the same races is ridiculous and childish.
