Montavalo has angry management problems and you will notice that he takes off weeks at a time. He was riding at Prairie Meadows for alot of the Arlington meet, he snuck in once in a while to ride a nut horse at Arlington. I am a big fan of his rides though

carlos had a good year considering the bouncing around he did and it wasnt a bad move at all to ride@prarie meadows considering that during the main meet there the purses were almost the exact same as the purses ata much tougher riding colony at arlington. i had carlos ride dan 2nd time out for me last year and he did exactly what i asked and the guy always tries his best. rode a filly for us a couple times this fall for us before he left, wish him the best!
