| Opening Day at beautiful Belmont Park, and what a glorious day they have. It's a reward for the people in the Northeast for enduring such a long-lasting winter and cooler than average spring. For a 7 furlong turf race at Belmont, it's fitting that the race be named after a horse who was absolutely brilliant at 7 furlongs and 1 mile on the Belmont turf. It makes me feel somewhat old to see races named after horses that I can remember betting on. $2 trifecta: 6 // 3,7,8 // 3,7,8,9 = $18 $1 trifecta: 3 // 6,7,8 // 6,7,8 = $6 |
