Drone attack on Al Queda compound kills two hostages
Apparently in January, a drone attack on Al Qaeda compound killed Al Qaeda operatives including an American Al Qaeda leader and two hostages, one an American. It is indeed tragic that innocent hostages were killed but while my heart goes out to their families, I must admit that accidental loss of innocent life is not an indictment of our war on terror. We are at war with Al Qaeda and use of American troops has proven ineffective therefore we must seek and destroy the terrorists using intelligence assets. This should not be a political issue, while we should rightly mourn the loss of two innocent lives we must remember the loss of over three thousand innocent lives on 9-11!

it's awful that those people lost their lives in that strike. it would be nice if the day would come that we could completely surgically take out just the bad guys. my sympathies go to the families and friends of those that were lost. it's just horrible to contemplate.
