So, of course, the plumbing work yesterday in the East Village was apparently not approved:
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/28/ny...show.html?_r=0 A friend of mine lived in one of the buildings. She and her husband are away on vacation, and returning to absolutely nothing. Thank god they're okay, but their cat was in the apartment.
