Looking at his siblings, it ain't looking good.
2009 giants causeway never raced, nor was it apparently even named. 2010 street cry sold for 1.2 million as a yearling. Two years later was at a horse rescue. The 2008 distorted humor ran the fastest debut bsf ever and never ran again.

Didn't know all that, good info, will ask. However, with what you said, you've got to think there was something there in that family. People don't pay THAT much for a horse that isn't almost perfect. Also, breaking a TR in a maiden is totally impressive. I've owned horses for years. Stuff happens to them, sometimes through no fault of their own. They can take a bad step and be done.
The connections are very high on this one. I'd rather not say how and why I know. I think that they think he's a freak. I think it's just a matter of keeping the freak healthy and on the track. Good insights. We'll see.

Without saying too much, I'm more of a pedigree guy. I have asked and it's been more about that horse. I have a decent "eye" for horses, but not the best, otherwise I'd have about 8 KY Derby winners.
They like this horse. I do have some stakes wins, but never a graded stakes. Not angry, but hoping it may happen. The horse will make it happen, not the owner or the trainer.

Awesome win today in the 7f Laz Barrera at SA. Stalked the wicked pace while 3wide and hit the timer in 1:20 97. Owner Rick Porter in winners circle after the race when asked by Millie Ball if Woody Stephens on Belmont day is next, said Jerry Hollendorfer wants to stretch him out. I for one would love to see a Kentuckian, Competitive Edge battle on Belmont Day..

That's a scary thought. In his last race he was kind of green. He had his head up and was looking around. Never grabbed the bit. Today he did.

I'm a sucker for a good Tiznow 3yo, I'll admit that, but I don't think my bias is building him up too much. Kentuckian looks like he's got the goods. Certainly has the connections to get every opportunity without being asked to do something he shouldn't be doing yet. How tall is he? I assumed the Unbridled's Song of his pedigree has made him on the bigger side, but I wasn't sure it wasn't an optical illusion. Loved the call referring to Kentuckian and the beginning of his move in the Laz Barrera as ominous. He's really a grey storm cloud of a horse.
