Default GP rainbow 6 hit for $1 mil

The Rainbow 6 had gone unhit since Feb. 12. The winning combination included two favorites, two second choices, and the longshots Silver Lucky Q (19-1) and Renombre (25-1). According to the mutual department, the winning ticket was purchased through the Portland, Ore., Hub for $336

Quite a lot of combos for $336. I guess the big guns start playing when it reaches a million.

If you are going for the pool, the best time to play the R6 is NOT on a big day or weekend.

Some big players are tying on as soon as there's a certain attractive critical mass. My late friend Chet Hancock, a multi-million dollar a year player, loved it and was spending $75-200 daily, hitting the solid consos regularly.

I've wondered at what point (if mathematically ever) does the action in the pool mitigate the added takeout of the Jackpot component. In other words, are enough players using longshot combinations to where they actually create value in the more logical numbers. The Jackpot % is a big number though, so doubt it, but yeah.

Personally, I am a small player, and it gets my attention when the pool gets around $500k. and then i lookat the days sequence to see if its doable without 6 contentious 12 horse fields,
