How about this one: This stray dog followed this extreme sports team 430 miles after one of the members fed him a meatball. This was a Swedish team down in Ecuador. They ended up adopting the dog and taking him all the way back to Sweden.

in visiting different notable sites, I've come across dog stories...at Gettysburg for one. another is the hoover dam. people think there are dam workers buried there...but there aren't. but a dog is.
