![]() I don't understand the hype on Imperia. I thought he had a nice setup in the Kentucky Jockey Club and couldn't get the job done against a horse that probably is not one of the elite three year olds.

![]() Only thing that scares me about Imperia is the surface. Some turfy horses can run well on the CD dirt and no other dirt tracks. Other than that, I think he lays over this field. He waxed International Star in the KJC.

![]() I think as it stands he is my Derby horse. The difference in this race was that International Star got through on the rail and he was 3-5 wide around the turn, and don't forget about that early interference. Similar trip story in the LeComte. Also think his kick will be better and more sustained going longer as his brother was a 12f winner (albeit on turf). I like Keen Ice as well but he just gets going too late and as of now seems more like a place or show horse.
