Very proud of and happy for Gary and the Sciacca team for the great work that resulted in Saratoga Snacks' return to form and win Thursday. Dee Tee works with everyone responsible for the big ridgling's return to form including groom Chicoline, assistant Paul Barone, farrier Tom Costello, Dr. Sierra, the hotwalkers and exercise riders and ALL had a hand in this very happy result.
On ATR today I voiced my thoughts on the situation that saw Snacks moved from the barn and suffice to say that some important racetrack messages are in evidence through the whole affair and how things have turned out. Whether the messages take root with owners and outside observers is another matter, but at least this one result is there in the firmament to point to.
