Wow...anyone who fits my definition of a hero (borrowed from Angel)...a hero is a person who sees the world for what it is but lives his/her life as if it were as it should be!
A few names:
Dr Martin Luther King
Medgar Evers
Rosa Parks
Harry Truman
and of course...Joss Whedon
