In contrast to last week, the Santa Anita stakes winners scored comparatively high Beyers vs recent runnings:
Santa Ynez G2 Only RENEESGTZIP (101) in 2012 has run a better Beyer than SEDUIRE (94) in the past 10 years. San Gabriel G2 FINNEGAN'S WAKE (100) joins PROUDINSKY (102) as only winners to run 100+ Beyers since 2007. In the Jerome, EL KABEIR (95) ran a better Beyer than VYJACK (90), but a far cry from the 115 Beyers of FUSAICHI PEGASUS (2001) and DISCREET CAT (2006). Cheers, Otis
