G1 winner Fritzy Boy.
![]() 10 years old. He raced 81 times for 15 wins, eight seconds and 11 thirds. He won the G1 Mudgway Stakes and seven other stakes races. He was placed five times at G1 level including C'est La Guerre's NZ Derby in 2008. You could argue it's slightly overdue - Fritzy hasn't won a race since October 2012 and has finished out of the money in his last 10 races. But he has had a great career and he's been fun to watch. Enjoy your well deserved retirement, old boy! http://www.nzherald.co.nz/wairarapa-...ectid=11378201 |

"...he just can't understand why he isn't being taken to the training track with the other horses." (Awww). Hope they will find a nice 2nd career for him... truly one of my favorites. Happy retirement, Fritzy! |
