![]() maybe part of it is how breeders define 'the best' these days...which isn't a stellar career, but a string of three or four races won followed by a quick retirement before a horse sullies his name by losing once in a while. it hasn't been a 'better the breed' effort for decades now-it's a bettering the bottom line goal.
