Will a win by Easter Gift seal the Eclipse Award for Chad Brown? He lacks a dirt Grade I on the year but really is the only trainer with Eclipse credentials besides Baffert, who had the same number of Grade I wins.
Pletcher had the most Grade I wins, but with the group of horses he's given each year and his complete lack of success in the classics and BC, he can't possibly win. He also hasn't won a Grade I with an older horse (3YO and Up) not named Stopchargingmaria since Palace Malice in the Met Mile.
