The Stewards should be graded throughout the year just like in the NFL and MLB, then top 5 stewards are picked to work the Breeders Cup.

I heard there were quite a few boos when Bayern came back to the winners circle.

My point exactly This excuse of thats the way the cali stewards always judge this type of incident is piss poor, as,is "bad racing luck". If the BC wants to be taken seriously as a sport, thry need to operate at the highest level with no possible question of malfesance to the viewing public.

I had nothing on the race, but per the stewards, the incident at the beginning of the race had nothing to do with the outcome. Then why have an inquiry to look at the start?

Yesterday in the Goldikova Stakes, they DQ'd the 5 & 6 horses for interferring but not the 1 horse, who came in also from the rear view they showed of the stretch. I have just as much luck hitting the Lotto as winning on horses with those stewards... Lol

As a jock of a speed horse, any reason not to dust off another speed horse within 2-3 posts at the start?

And your selective screen grab shows what ?

That there is calm after the storm ?

I think it shows that this incident DID affect the outcome of the race. Moreno clearly gets a good jump but loses all chance because of what Bayern did. That in its own right is an infraction, let alone how it affected how the race was run.
