That was very impressive by Lady Eli, also a very impressive ride by Irad there.

I didn't get to see the races before the 6th today, but it looks to me like both surfaces may be playing very well to speed today.

Admittedly saved ground, but 1:33.41 is an excellent time even over the speedway turf course at Santa Anita.

Pretty much all week Nick.. On the Dirt for the most part you need to be in the first pack

In the Distaff, I have been waiting for Belle Gallantey since Saratoga for this very race and she has draw perfectly inside of Untapable who figures to have a very tough trip here. Playing 3-4-7-11 here. Good luck to everyone in the Distaff.

I was on trial all week so I really have not had a chance to see how it was playing, but for Goldencents to set those fractions and hold on, I have to think the track is carrying a bit.

I really was not keen on Close Hatches here after her no excuse run last out, but 4-1 on her with this kind of track really makes me take another look.

Can anyone think of a reason, any reason, why SA is not offering a double to the last race here?

To avoid confusion with the Distaff/Classic Double?
