![]() Tracks state that jockeys are private contractors and not employees of the track. However, tracks can deny their entrance to the track or even ban them from riding for no reason. This doesn't make sense to me at all. Can someone please explain how this is possible for me?

![]() Just as I thought would happen. The jockey guild is sending a letter to the tracks saying that denying jocks due process before denying them the right to earn a living.
