" He told me (in a rather scolding, condescending tone and manner) that "midgets" is an inappropriate slang word for little people, and if I was making a joke about how Oberlin is as cold as the North Pole, well then, technically elves aren't even midg.... little people. I reminded him to focus his attention on the prevailing matter at hand. That firstly the intarweb is wrong about the winter temps in his fair city. He said, nope the intarweb is accurate. I told him that he should go fuc1< himself with an icepick and hire a godamned eskimo if that were really the case. I believed he was testin' my mettle. Mettle testin' is an old trick they use ta use in weedin' out the weak ones. That's no longer the case - but ahm digressin' Nevah heard from that sick bastard again. True Story. Really? A pretty good one,too.The only thing there is a private college.It's like,I think, maybe 40 miles west of Cleveland. All you have to do is take Clevelands lattitude and see where it connects to on a map.It's cold. |
