I echo your sentiments all around. What an amazing meet so far!
I was sniffling. Then I thought, "only 10 1/2 months until I can do it all over again." And here we are, in the midst of doing.

Hoping, hoping for decent weather tomorrow! As I'm on a folding chair!

Was that folding chair... the ""give away"" or ""give way "" chair ?

Looks like today's weather could be the worst of the weekend with Saturday & Sunday looking perfect:

I really have to say, while you can't catch a price on the Zayat horses because the are running so well...they have been a refreshing addition to the Saratoga season. They are spotted well, yet take chances, are with different trainers and some of them are even coming back for more before the meet is over relatively quick in today's standards (and they are good looking):

No, wasn't the giveaway chair. They looked about right for my 8 year old granddaughter!

And the weather was...oh, my, impressive.

So impressive, we left after the Travers, unable to take any more impressiveness, especially with the obvious thunder and lightening. And me down a buck, too. Probably saved me from being down a few bucks.

Should be gorgeous this upcoming weekend, no matter which day I actually make it.

And, oh, yeah, Toby Kieth walked by me and I had NO idea who he was until I overheard some nearby people hyperventilating on their cell phones.

Same here, I've never seen people go so ape$hit over someone and I had absolutely no clue who the guy was until after about 40 "oh my God, that's Toby Keith"'s in a row.
