One thing that he absolutely must be commended for is that through all of this adversity, the team has not quit on him. Not of a second.

Unfortunately in every measurement - given the level of talent, the team is woefully under performing - they still lead the league in penalties, and they still struggle to make 2nd half adjustments to close a game out. Buffalo is a bad team. Atlanta is a bad team. Matt Stafford had one of the worse days of his career that attributed to the Detroit win (20 total offensive rushing yds and 10 first downs gets you killed 99.99% of the time - welcome to any given Sunday).

This week is his test. He has the 49er's at home. A team that is now fighting for a wildcard. On paper, the two match up well - obviously Glennon is no Kapernick, but Tampa's secondary is better and the D line is beginning to develop something resembling a pass rush.

Should be an exciting game to watch - if they play like they belong on the field with them, not necessarily win, but at least look like they can compete - he may well have done enough to redeem himself.

If we get the same menu of bone-headed broken coverages, bad personal fouls at inopportune times, procedure penalties, too many men/not enough men on the field, et al, It should be the tipping point I'd imagine.
