Need Goldencents or Normandy Invasion.
Here was my betting strategy I posted here for the Oaks. The Hall of Famer Calvin Borel cost me a very nice exacta. |

* Rick Pitino is a part owner: he only owns 5%... but he might as well as own 99% from the way it's been reported * Trainer Doug O'Neill winning the race last year. I suppose this one isn't 100% irrelevant ... but it's not that meaningful * His jockey is bidding to become the first black jockey to win the race in a century... if this race was run on a Thursday afternoon with no publicity, Kevin Krigger's presence would actually equal inflated odds. I still have no idea how Goldencent was 6/1 in the SA Derby. * The typically myopic Californian bettors and fans don't have another contender in the race who is based in Southern Cal. A lot of irrelevant crap is associated with Goldencents to depress his odds a little bit. The fact that I picked him might sway pweizer and about 46 people who live in Erie...but that's about all the swing I have. |

you probably have more than 46 people at this site alone that follow your plays. the horses to follow was a tour de force.
I have a friend that's always asking me who the rachel alexandra guy likes in big races after i told him about your your early spot on her. |

I need either Normandy Invasion or Itsmyluckyday tomorrow. My double today was 2/3/4/6/8/11 with 5 and 12 for 24 bucks. Really wishing I threw in a few more horses for tomorrow, but I figured it wouldn't have been worth it because it was most likely going to be a shorter priced winner. Thanks for posting the will pays, btw.

This is exactly what you NOT want to have happen when you're whole bet in the race is #8 over #5, #6, and #7: ![]() Besides Dreaming of Julia getting knocked sideways ... it appears that she cracked Pure Fun in the head with her own head. Obviously, the 7 and 8 got all of the worst of it ... but thankfully Princess of Sylmer was able to deal with it and win. Hopefully Dreaming of Julia and Pure Fun are both ok. DoJ was running extremely erratically, though that might have been because she was taking a lot of dirt in her face and was probably short on fitness as well from being under-trained coming into this race. |

How about the fact that there is only one horse in the field outside of Goldencents to have started on the main track in SoCal in their career? Oxbow...and only one other to have made a start there, and that was Lines of Battle, which basically doesn't count. Goldencents is likely getting a ton of money from everyone in the pacific time zone.

Have a live Woodford/Derby P3 today which should provide building excitement...live to Slim Shadey, Silver Max, Wise Dan, Point of Entry and then 8, 12, 16 in the Derby.
