Yes, extortion is where you threaten - Trump's threat is the constant "Birther" drumbeat nonsense. BTW Stephen Colbert offered Trump $1million from the Colbert SuperPAC to a Trump charity if he, Stephen, could tea bag Donald. I think Donald is terrible for refusing that - think of the kids! I feel bad for Stephen Colbert. The poor guy might get arrested for extortion. I can't believe he would try to extort Donald Trump like that. LOL.

In all seriousness, when you offer someone money to do something, that is obviously not extortion. If I offer you $5000 to go go skydiving, that is not extortion. That is a dare. A dare is not extortion. It is in no way like extortion. Trump's offer was basically a dare. He's daring Obama to release those records and will pay to see him do it. That is not even close to being extortion.
