Sorry for the delay, real life had been keeping be busy.
Pertaining to the current POTUS.
Energy Policy: Solyandra 500 mil
Abound 400 mil
Domestic:1.2 trillion in debt

Foreign: Islamic world still hates us.
Russia hates us too.
Israel is not far behind.

That's just off the top of my head, ill get to the rest of it later, gotta make some lunch and run errands.

What about the 98% success rate in clean energy? Solyndra was a Bush Adminstration approved project, BTW - Obama administration made them come up with more paperwork at last minute for approval, because they didn't like Solyndra's dicey numbers, and Solyndra lied on the paperwork to the government.

The deficit has been reduced every year for 3 years in a row, and federal spending is at the lowest point since Reagan - massive cuts in government size and cost.

Oh - and life of Medicare has been extended 8 years.

Much of Islam thinks very highly of America, as witness what happened with Libyan citizens protecting US embassy employees, and going after attackers. Libyan's are on our side. Terrorists are terrorists, and will never change. We are far more respected in Islam under Obama, than under Bush.

Russia hates everyone. However Obama did get that new SALT treaty signed where Bush couldn't.

Israel is far more than Netanyahu - the rest of the country is quite happy with Obama continuing same strong USA policy regarding Israel since the Bush administration, but increasing the sanctions against Iran. Netanyahu is not representative of what Israel and the rest of the country thinks - he's rather a neocon war monger.

Okay. Clint Eastwood's Obama is a pretty bad guy, gotta admit that.

So much for the good news. As suspected a 'technical factor'

Quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Weekly applications for U.S. unemployment benefits jumped 46,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 388,000, the highest in four months. The increase marks a rebound from the previous week's sharp drop. Both swings were largely due to technical factors.

The four-week average of applications, a less volatile measure, rose slightly to 365,500, the Labor Department said Thursday. That's still a level consistent with modest hiring.

A department spokesman said the last two weeks' figures were distorted by seasonal adjustments the department makes

Green energy, union and public sector jobs are really the only ones this President is interested in. Hence letting millions of illegals to the front of the line competing with legals for the small amount of jobs available.

It isn't the illegals competing for minimum wage jobs that is killing us.

I love it when questioned about unemployment, the republitards answer is always "get rid of all the regs so we can operate freely and increase employment" Like there is some sort of mutual exclusivity between the two.

50% of college graduates can't find work - It's not because there's no oil rigs or assembly lines to work on - if there were, they would still be over qualified for all of the manufacturing / energy jobs that will supposedly be created when Romney gets to drill and siphon fossil fuels from all over the continent.

The reality is that these, now multinational corporations, hire (or rather contract) engineers in Turkey, Singapore, China, Indonesia, India, etc. that are just as skilled and adept as their American counterparts, at a fraction of the cost.

That never seems to get discussed. A Corporation's singular fiduciary responsibility is ROI to the shareholder - they have no obligation to enhance the fabric of our society by "overpaying" for higher-end skill sets here, we simply exist to purchase their wares.

How about if you want to sell your crap here, you have to prove that your higher-end skilled jobs are filled here?

I know - Craaaaaazy talk. Protectionism (OOOOOH EEEEEVIL WERRRRRD!!!11).

No it's the ones running construction and landscaping companies, sending a chunk of all proceeds back to Mexico and undercutting american small businesses that's killing us. It's their children all getting a free education bi-lingual if needed that's killing us.
