Been to the Villages couple times in the past...Is Lady of the Lake part of the villages?...Had friends from Ind and CT retire there..We usta rent a condo at New Smyrna in April and we would visit back and forth...and of course i spent many afternoons at Daytona dog track...

No; Lady Lake is adjacent to The Villages, and is a town wholly within Lake County. The Villages is a sprawling planned community that covers parts of Lake, Marion, and Sumter Counties.
