This doesn't sound good. He does not have the stallion credentials I look for at all...but someone will still pay, I guess. |

![]() Just awful. My interest went from completely fired up about getting to the track early to I may just go to the golf tournament.

![]() You can catch the video on ESPN. Jeannine Edwards says that Kenny McPeek believes the injury took place in his stall. He heard when IHA vioilently kicked a bucket in his stall. I guess the detention barn was to his liking

![]() For what it's worth, though I couldn't tell you if it was under remotely similar circumstances, my TB narrowly avoided a serious tendon injury doing something foolish that involved a waterer and a front leg.

This is from long-time Roger Stein show sidekick Aaron Hesz: Quote:
You have a guy on Youtube who looks like a backstretch worker, more than 3 days ago, saying he had heard "a rumor of a concussion injury on one of his front legs by the workers of I'll Have Another's barn that might open the possibility of him being scratched at the Belmont Stakes." I'd believe that before I'd believe the horse got hurt kicking at a bucket with his left front leg. |

![]() that was the part that caught my eye. why does this spell the end for his career??? he's not a highly bred horse. i haven't seen the clamor for him like i have in the past with other horses...so why would may of his 3 yo season be the end?

![]() Is this insider scoop from for the Justice League of Extraordinary Veterinarians?
Because according to every major news outlet covering this, it apprears that it is bowed, but there has been no official diagnosis yet. If you know more about this than Ray Paulick, shoot him an email - he hates getting scooped. |
