Let's face it, we all know what's going as soon as Sanchez hits any kind of bump in the road.

I hear you guys and the points are fair. We'll see what Rex is made of as a coach.
Sanchez has been getting booed since he got there. It remains to be seen if he has gotten over last year. Maybe this motivates him and kicks his play up a notch. |

Tebow beats him out for the top spot in camp.
Sanchez is very lazy not all that talented and doesn't know how to workout for a job.

OK but you have to take both. I already win the Sanchez bet, we will need to wait on the other outcome.

Could we see Tony Sparano and the return of the wildcat offense with Tebow? If not then I do not see the football fit for the Jets. I would imagine Sanchez is not very pleased.

odds?
Which one? Tebow or sanchez? The Sanchez statement is fact so you would've already lost.

Don't play dumb. You said Tebow will beat him out as starter in camp. I disagree.

It was a joke, I am willing to wager but since I do not know you I will keep it fun. $20 says Tebow starts over Sanchez.

There's no way Tebow starts week 1 in NY unless sanchez is injured.
Even if Tim outplays Mark in the pre-season, I don't see any way Rex doesnt start his guy Sanchez week 1.

At this point, I really don't think a competition is what's best for Sanchez and the team. It's his 4th year and he's been sucessful in the playoffs. He had a tough year for a team that wasn't nearly as good as it was hyped up to be. But this constant mind f.ucking they are doing to Sanchez can't be good. First Manning, then the extention and now Tebow. The extention is the mind-boggling part, they believed in him enough to give him the extention, but now bring in Tebow. I guess if they didn't give it to him, I could almost understand the trade a little better. But unless the Jets come out today and say they traded for Tebow to convert him into something else, this situation is going to get ugly fast.

The extension is because they believe in him. But bringing in Tebow addresses issues they had offensively. They struggled in short yardage situations and the wildcat will open stuff up. I love the move. As long as roles are explained and everyone does what they are supposed to (a big if) it will work out well. If not, they didn't give up much. |

Now I'm not sure what happened last year. There were a lot of Jets fans who haven't been happy with Schotty/play calling for a while. They didn't run the ball well and they didn't protect Sanchez. Once again there were times he could have been pulled, although sometimes it wasn't his fault (the Eagles game comes to mind). But he was flat out awful at times, no arguement from me. Then the season ends and the whole world gangs up on Sanchez. Some guys came to his defense, but I guess the label has stuck. Is it accurate? I'm not sure. But my point is, that after a season which was shortened by the lockout, lots of complaining at Schotty, players fighting with each other and a severe issues with the offensive line, I think based on his success in his first two seasons, I would have given him a pass for last season and looked forward to a big year this year. Also making sure Sanchez and Holmes are on the same page. He was a major culprit that did nothing but ignite trouble (after getting his payday). They missed the playoffs by one game and it feels like they are sounding the panic alarms on the QB who played well in his first 2 seasons. If they really have questions about him, then they should have never signed him to the extention and make him sing for his supper this year.

Every team aside from like 4 or 5 probably thought about it also. I don't view bringing in Tebow as a panic alarm at all. He's not being brought in to start IMO. |
