Breitbert was a very unlikable guy for a lot of people. People don't need to be saddened by his death (I never met him, his death really does not affect me) But still, that was one of the weirdest posts i've ever seen.

I had already posted my opinion of Breitbart in a previous post, did you miss what I actually said about "the dead" Breitbart? What's weird is you apparently completely ignoring what I actually said about Breitbart, and accuse me of speaking ill via quoting something else.

No. I said very plainly what I thought about Breitbart. It's in the post above the one where you are creating some magical weirdness out of thin air. I don't need your magical secret weirdness. I said plainly what I thought of the guy.

Don't knock Joe's 90-minute-press conference to reveal newfound info regarding Obama's birth certificate, that didn't reveal any suddenly found new results other than the same old half-azzed conspiracy craziness. He's personally forcing Arizona into the Dem column. Just say, "Thanks, Sherrif Joe! - keep up the crazy, dude!"

I was reading some of the earlier posts in this thread. Breitbart was no worse than anyone else. It is extremely common in politics for someone to make a person look bad by quoting something that that person once said. You go over a person's speeches and find something they said that was stupid. This happens every day. And when this happens, the attack article almost never has the whole speech. They just have the inflammatory quote. So often times the quote is taken out of context.

The incident that Breitbart is criticized for the most is the Shirley Sherrod story. In this story, he did nothing worse than what is done every single day by left-wing journalists, right-wing journalists, mainstream journalists, and practically all political operatives. It wasn't like he only played a 10 second clip of her speech. He played at least 45 seconds of her speech. She said what she said. It sounded pretty bad. But if you listened to the whole speech, it didn't sound nearly as bad.

Playing the most inflammatory part of a speech is hardly unusual. This is done every day. This hardly makes Breitbart some sort of evil villain like many of you make him out to be.

Rest in Peace - Breitbart was excellent - left wing smearing of his name notwithstanding.

Did he ever get that apology from the press saying he was "lying" about the Anthony Weiner photos? How about the ACORN sting - did that not really happen as depicted on the video? The left is upset because, in Breitbart, they actually had to deal with some of the "in your face" tactics they employ against the right.

Don't worry - Breitbart is gone - but there will be more like him. Bet on it.

No, it did not. Breitbart was found a serial liar on that one, and cobbled that video together. As he did with Shirley Sherrod.

Breitbart lied, and ruined lives. He was a dangerous and useless man.

I'm enjoying watching the current implosion of the John Birch Society/current Republican Party incarnation. Good riddance to hate, bigotry, prejudice, big government, theocracy. These things have cycles. Thank god this cycle of hate is ending. It's the only way the former GOP can retake it's party from the wingnuts, and become a political force again, in time for 2016.

I'm not interested in a back and forth. I don't even care about Breitbart. Don't know him, didn't follow him, though I really appreciated that he helped expose ACORN.

I just find it weird, and slightly funny, the stuff you are posting. You are like a carbon copy of Breitbart.. except on the opposite spectrum of political idea's, and nobody cares what you say, compared to all the followers Breitbart had.

First, what you are discussing is indeed my post, but are not my words. I wish you'd read the links before you post so you don't misassume.

Secondly, no. I am not "a carbon copy of Breitbart". I have spent my life in medicine, helping people, and then animals; not lying and attempting to destroy lives and careers with hate and lies. We're kinda the exact opposite.

I say the same thing about people after they die, as I did when they were alive. Suddenly being dead doesn't change what they were. And Breitbart was a true scumbag.

I do feel sorry for his family, his wife and kids, and any friends he had. But yes, I'm damn glad he's off the political scene. He was a horror of a liar and destroyer.
